“SOUP’er” Bowl Sunday? Chowdafest Comes to Webster Bank Arena

Your pre-Super Bowl meal might be choosing from a bunch of different soups. Wait. Sorry. Chowders. Wouldn’t want to offend a chowder (actually a soup) by calling it a soup.
Soups, chowders, whatever, you can get your fill at Bridgeport’s Webster Bank Arena on Sunday, February 3, as it will be the stage for Chowdafest, a soup (there’s that offensive word again) and chowder competition.
So bring your favorite giant spoon, a big appetite, some friends, and $10 for your ticket so you can try all the seafood, potato, corn, Manhattan or New England clam, and many other different types of chowdas from these local restaurants:

  • BanC House
  • Blue Lemon
  • Bobby Q’s
  • Bodega Taco Bar
  • The Brewhouse
  • Close Harbor Seafood
  • Crab Shell
  • Donovan’s
  • Dunville’s
  • The Ginger Man
  • High Tide Gourmet
  • Liquid Lunch
  • Mansion Clam House
  • Nicholas Roberts
  • On the Rocks
  • O’Neill’s
  • Old Post Tavern
  • The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood
  • Rory’s
  • Southport Brewing Co.
  • Super Duper Weenie
  • Szabo’s Seafood
  • Tavern on Main
  • Valencia Luncheria
  • Bloom Brothers
Chowdafest is clearly the perfect pre-game. Be hungry, my friends.
Chowdafest runs from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on February 3, 2013 at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard, 600 Main Street, in Bridgeport, CT.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, and kids under six years old are FREE.
Chowdafest benefits the CT Food Bank, please bring a non-perishable food donation with you. If you cannot attend and would still like to send a donation, a check for any amount would be helpful. You can mail donations to:
