Delicious Sights from A Taste of Westport

The Westport Inn drew a nice crowd on May 1, 2014 for the 10thannual A Taste of Westport where ticket prices and silent auctions benefitted CLASP Homes Inc., an organization that provides homes and opportunities for people with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Admission to A Taste of Westport included a healthy sampling of fine dining fare from well-known restaurants primarily in the Westport area but others from around Fairfield County pitched in too.
Participating restaurants included: Bistro B, Blue Lemon, Bobby Q’s, DaPietro’s, Matsu Sushi, Spotted Horse, Pane e Bene, Post 154, Rizzuto’s, Forte Gelato, Tarantino’s, 55 Wine Bar & Restaurant, The Spread, dash of salt, La Paella, Black Bear Wines & Spirits, Rive Bistro, Greens Farms Spirits, Little Barn, Geronimo, Beaver Beer, Hummock Island Raw Bars, Eventi Café, Sweet Sabrina’s Cake Shop, American Harvest Organic Vodka.
Enjoy the photos from the event 🙂

When Little Barn busted out these steak tacos…Wow. One of the best things at the event.

Ribs from Bobby Q’s

The Bobby Q’s trifecta: A rib, pulled pork, brisket.

Some ridiculously good crispy pork from…

Chef Alex Rosado of Post 154 in Westport! This dude brought the noise with…

The pork, eggplant meatballs, and wait for it…MOFONGO! Being Half Puerto Rican, this speaks to me!

My pals from The Spread in South Norwalk! Represent!

Chef Carlos Baez of The Spread had one of the tastiest & prettiest snacks there with a tuna app with a bit of spicy kick to it!
Rock candy-ish sugar for coffee! Cool!

A serious slider from Bistro B; beef, fondue cheese, bacon & onion jam. And I really ate their chocolate pudding w/peanut butter mousse like right after. It was damn good too! Don’t judge!

The dessert table I kept going back to…
