Recap & Photo Gallery from the Ninety9Bottles Craft Beer Fest

Hundreds of locals and semi-locals gathered at South Norwalk’s Oyster Shell Park on Saturday, June 7, 2014, on what was easily the nicest day weather-wise of the year and a perfect day for the Ninety9Bottles Craft Beer Festival.
The Beer Fest featured over 40 brews from Connecticut breweries like Two Roads, Half Full and New England Brewing Co.; some from New York (Captain Lawrence, Brooklyn, Sixpoint, Bronx); and others from further out west like Breckinridge and Lagunitas.
Besides enjoying tasters of different beers, festival attendees had the option to get their grub on in the food truck area where The Local Meatball, Melt Mobile and Lobstercraft were waiting or they had the choice of a roasted porchetta sandwich topped with coleslaw made by Saugatuck Craft Butchery.
And by the way, if you see yourself in the photos or if you see someone you know, tag it up on our Facebook Page!
A portion of the proceeds from this event helped benefit The Team Jesse Foundation which provides education and support to families of fallen soldiers. To find out more about what they do, visit http://www.teamjesse.org/

The band is The String Fingers Band. Think along the lines of folk music.

  3. Keep in mind, if you do choose to have a wedding or event here that the maximum capacity with a dance floor is about 150. So it is different from having a wedding at a big hotel.
